Our wine is from the Western Cape, South Africa. In keeping with our ‘Made in Africa by Africans’ ethos it is carefully blended to showcase the fruit-forwardness and superior quality of South African grapes.

Our team of experienced winemakers use only hand-picked grapes from the Robertson and Swartland regions, carefully blended to produce velvety wines with refreshing acidity.

Nyekundu is the Swahili word for RED, and Mara Nyekundu is a delicious blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fruity, with strong aromas of plums, vanilla and blackcurrants. An approachable wine ideally suited to the traditional Kenyan Nyama Choma, Asian curries, exotic game meats and a good old-fashioned steak.
